3 dead at Michigan courthouse

Local television stations in Michigan are reporting that at least three people are dead in a shooting at the courthouse in Berrien County.

It is unclear whether the shooter is one of the dead.

The Berrien County Sheriff's Department earlier said a law enforcement officer was shot. Michigan State Police have secured the scene, according to a tweet from Gov. Rick Snyder.

St. Joseph is on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan, about 100 miles by car from Chicago.
