Milo Moiré is a Swiss conceptual and performance artist, painter, and psychologist, according to her (slightly NSFW) .
She was also arrested last week in London after asking passersby to
stroke her breasts and vagina — which were covered by an opaque,
mirrored box with an appropriately placed hole — in the name of consent
and female sexuality.Click for more photos after the cut..
Moiré told DAZED her piece (called "Mirror Box") was meant to be a follow-up to the one she performed after more than 1,000 women were sexually assaulted on New Year's Eve in Cologne, Germany. That time, she stood naked in the city holding a sign that read "'Respect Us! We are not fair game even when naked!!!"
Though
she didn't explain whether or not the performance was pegged to a
specific event, this past week, she stood in public areas and announced
through a megaphone: "I am standing here today for women's rights and
sexual self-determination.

Women have a sexuality, just like men have one. However, women decide for themselves when and how they want to be touched, and when they don't." She then invited people to touch her for 30-second periods each, and (after a brief moment of hesitation) many do. The Mirror Box has an internal camera as well, so you can see a heavily censored version of what's happening inside the box as well.
She'd performed an identical routine in Amsterdam and Dusseldorf, where,
while she provoked crowds and police told her the megaphone was too
loud, she was not stopped. In London, though, she'd only just began her
performance before she was arrested, DAZED reports. She also spent the
night in jail and was given a "4-digit fine."
