Hapoel Beer Sheva FC and Nigeria midfielder, John Ogu is relishing his Champions League debut goal in their 3-2 victory against FC Sheriff Tiraspol in the Champions League qualification 1st leg clash on Tuesday.
Reacting after the home victory at the Turner Stadium, Ogu took to his twitter to express his feelings about the victory, and expectations in the Israeli Premier League season; as well as the second leg tie in Moldova.
“Thank God for d victory n my goal even as am not looking sharp yet, working hard to be fit. Great way to start d season,” Ogu wrote on twitter. Ogu has scored seven goals in his 61 games appearance since joining the Israeli champions from Portuguese side in 2014.
