Renato Sanches has revealed his squad number at Bayern Munich - and it pays homage to his huge transfer fee.

The 18-year-old heads into the new season off the back of an impressive Euro 2016 campaign with Portugal.

And now Sanches, who was signed for an initial €35 million fee from Benfica before the tournament, has been handed number 35 ahead of Bayern’s upcoming campaign.

Sanches only made his first-team debut for Benfica in November and wore No.85 for the duration of last season, while he wore No.16 for Portugal at Euro 2016.
