Reports emerged before Chelsea's pre-season clash against Real Madrid that left-back Baba Rahman had been deemed surplus to requirements, and was set to fly to Germany to seal a season-long loan deal to Schalke 04.
Today, Rahman was spotted in Gelsenkirchen, before reportedly undergoing his medical, and, in short order, completing his move.
With just the official confirmations pending, Baba Rahman has all but signed for Schalke and will spend the season back in the Bundesliga. Hopefully he'll be able to surpass the heights he achieved in the league with Augsburg. Good luck, Baba!
