Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel has appointed Mr. Uduak Ewitat as Chairman of the new Akwa savings and loans limited board.
Also appointed are Mr. Ebong Okon Bassey, Managing Director of the financial institution, with Mr. Patrick Ifon; Barr. Akan Emmanuel Udo; and Engineer Asuquo Odiong as members of the Board.
Similarly, the Governor has also approved the reassignment of the Managing Director of Ibom Power Company, Dr. Victor Udo as Senior Special Assistant, Planning in the Governor's Office.
He is to handover to Engineer Meyen Etukudo, the Special Assistant on Power.
Engineer Etukudo will serve as Acting Managing Director of Ibom Power Company, pending the appointment of the Board and substantive Managing Director of the company.
The Governor, in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Sir Etekamba Umoren, said the appointments take immediate effect
