Police Kill Another Two Nigerian Students, Battle Line Drawn, As Students Set For Revenge

National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) utterly condemns the act of irresponsibility and nonchalant expressed by Nassarawa State Government. It is a clear indication of her connivance with the officers of the Nigerian Police Force to unleash mayhem on the protesting students of Nassarawa State Polytechnic, killing two for no just cause on Thursday.
We want to use this medium to reaffirm our position that we will not continue to fold or arms and watch our members lives been taking away by unprofessional officers of Nigerian Police Force. Hence, We hereby use this medium to inform all security agencies, government parastatals, Nigerian Students, and the entire public to join us in the #StopKillingStudents campaign. Aluta Continua! NAPS SENATE : OUR DEMANDS

*that the Inspector General of Police should as a matter of urgency commence the prosecution process of the Officers of Nigeria police Force who perpetrated this illicit act.

 * That immediate necessary arraignment should be made by Nassarawa state Government, The school management and the Nigeria Police Force to organise a befitting burial for the deceased students, and compensate their families.

* That the management of Nassarawa state polytechnic should as a matter of urgency organise a legitimate students union government election for the students to elect their leaders democratically and ensure that the process is observed by the Leadership of this above organisation.

 * That the state Government should provide more effective speed breakers and possible a pedestrian bridge in front of the school to cushion the risk of the road crossing by students of the institution.

 * That the arrested students be unconditionally released with immediate effect.
