The true position is that, No student life was lost.
Very unfortunate 8 lives were lost in the unfortunate incidence but they were all looters who all went into the house of one TAJUDEEN: A food vendor (who help in saving the life of the first victim), to loot his property, they all ran out of luck as some hoodlums, locked the door from outside and set the house ablaze in protest for saving the young man.
It was one of the looter who didn't die on the spot that gave the true account. The first victim has been discharged from the Sokoto State University Teaching Hospital. We equally used the opportunity while delivering the message of the Special Assistant to President Buhari on Youth and Student Affairs to Zamfara people by admonishing and charging all Nigerians particularly the youths to continue to live in peace and harmony as Unity remains the key to a sustainable development in the country.
