More Than 4000 Farmers set to be Empowered Through The Agricultural Loan Scheme
facilitated by Hon Armstrong Moses
More than 4000 grassroot farmers from Akwa Ibom State has so far apply for the small scale soft Loan facilitated by The Special Assistant to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State Hon Armstrong Moses and the New Phase of Agriculture Organization led by Mr Austin Ndaeyo
The grassroot farmers from the 31 Local Government Areas in Akwa Ibom State have all got the forms and satisfy most of the required conditions set by the relevant authority for the assess of the loan.
The nine percent (9%) single unit interest loan has a maximum facility unit fund of five hundred thousand Naira (500,000 NGN) and a minimum facility unit fund of One hundred and fifty thousand Naira (150,000 NGN ).
Speaking recently at the Monthly general meeting of the Poultry (Farmers) Association of Nigeria in Uyo Hon Armstrong Moses that the Scheme is in line with Governor Udom Emmanuel Agricultural Revolution and food sufficiency Agenda.
The Hard working SA urge beneficiaries of the scheme not to think of diverting the fund to any other business as revenant monitoring Agencies has been put in place to check, monitor and ensure that the fund is used for Agricultural purposes.
The Governors Aide said that the Governor Deacon Udom Emmanuel is poise to make Akwa Ibom the Agriculture hub of the Nation.
He urge all well meaning citizens on Akwa Ibom to Stand up and support the Agricultural Revolution and food sufficiency Agenda of the Governor by investing in Agricultural related ventures in the State.
