Some aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State that sealed the party’s secretariat said they took the decision after they noticed that the delegates list for the governorship primary election was doctored.

They claimed that the Chairman of the party in the state, Mr Isaac Kekemeke, doctored the list.

Chieftains of the party, together with party youths and women sealed the party’s state Secretariat in Akure, the capital of Ondo State on Tuesday.

The Secretariat located along Oyemekun road was put under lock and key by the angry party members who were opposed to imposition of a governorship candidate on the party.

They were armed with placards with various inscriptions claiming the process of the primary election had been flawed.

The protest came barely 11 days to the governorship primary election of the party.

In the heat of the protest, the protesters also announced the sack of the chairman and replaced him with one Saka Yusuf.

Mr Kekemeke has not responded to the claims.
