Calabar Itu road has claimed so many life over the years, the deplorable state of the road has in recent days made traveling to and from Calabar a deadly attempt, though intervention measures by the federal government is ongoing but the casualties on the road continues.
Just some days ago, a gravel full loaded truck from Calabar crushed a 12 year old girl who was hawking sachet water by the road-side, this is yet another tragic incident . However the recidents of the area solicited speedy reconstruction of the road from the government
